Why this series exists

Complex systems deserve clear explanations.

The idea behind The ERP Coffee Break Series came from a familiar problem: enterprise systems are often taught as tasks and click paths, while the bigger picture remains unexplained.

Briley Braun is the international pen name of Birgit Maria Braun, a Senior ERP Consultant and business process specialist with more than a decade of experience in enterprise systems. Her career began at SAP’s Vancouver office and grew from customer service into business applications and CRM. Today, her work connects users, processes, system logic, and interfaces — the same real-world perspective that shapes every Coffee Break.

“Here is what is actually happening. Here is why it matters. And here is what you need to know.”
